Personal Information

We collect and store our customers' information at their discretion. This information may include home and/or business address(es), contact names, email addresses, phone numbers, communication preferences, and credit card information. All customer information collected online is done so on encrypted pages, and is sent to our business premises via encrypted means to be stored locally. Locally stored data on the Buffy's Book Boutique LLC (hereafter, "Buffy's")  premises is not encrypted, with the exception of credit card information which, if collected at all, is encrypted. All customer information is accessible only by staff.

The information we collect at the time of checkout or account creation is used for order fulfillment, communications about orders or purchases, and for verifying shipping or payment details.

We use a third-party service provided by Twilio to communicate order updates to customers via SMS text message. Customers must indicate at the time of online account creation, online order checkout, or in-store ordering, that they wish to receive communications via text message. Customers can reply to our texts with the word STOP to opt out of text message notifications from us. We do not send out any marketing via text message, and use the service strictly to provide order updates and pick up / ship notifications.

We do not provide our customers' information or activity to third parties for any use other than comminication between Buffy's and the customer. We do not provide any personal customer information to any third party to be used for any other purpose.
