"What Moves the Dead" by T Kingfisher

"AHHHH, I loved this book! Without giving away spoilers, this book is a blend of gothic horror and natural science, and it left me so excited to read the next one in the series. The storyline is a retelling of Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Fall of the House of Usher,” but I really enjoyed the liberties Kingfisher took when adapting the story.

Also, gotta love the cover art. You can judge this book by its cover!
